Termination and Keeping academic documents

Hello sir, My company terminated me, and not giving me my original certificates stating that you give the amount we decided at the time of making an agreement ( to submit original certificate for 3 years, now it's been 9 months and I have been terminated in july as per termination letter though I was present in august also). but company terminated me then why should i give them the money to get my original academic certificates back? They didn't give me the copy of that agreement so, I am not aware or remember complete agreement, though I asked them about the copy of it they ignored and didn't respond me. please help me I need those documents I am not getting job. reason of termination : I met the day and expressed I am not intereseted in the job, but at that time I was in stress because of medical condition and financial problems at my home but I didn't resigned after three days I thought and discussed with my family members I decided not to resign and expressed my willingness to work but they didn't trust me and told me to resign and give the money of aggreement but I told I don't want to resign I want to continue, but they told me not to come to office and after few days they sent me termination letter on mail...and told If I want my documents back, I have to give them money of agreement . please reply I need guidance
