Annual General B ody Meeting

I am a Resident and member of our Flat Owner's Association since last years. The Association was formed on [deleted] with 11 committee members and registered with Registrar of Soceity,TN. At the time of formation none of the Committee members are residents in the community but owns flats. Since inception to till date there has been no activities. No Annual General Body Meeting or Motntly meetings of ECM is conveneyed.No audited balance sheet is submitted. Now the Builder/Promoter on continuous insistance from the residents have called for a AGM which is not done by the President or Secretary who have not convened any EC meetings to decide the AGM. What validity the Builder is having to call for a AGM to discuss the election process . So far we have not been submitted the list of Owners list. Only we the present residents are fighting with Builder to sove our issues by conducting a regular monthly meetings among us. The so called office bearers neither visited our community or taken active part so far. Nobody knows who are all. It seems the builder has constituted the association on his own. Please kindly guide us whether the AGM called by the builders has any validity. Whether we can go ahead with the election to elect a new set of office bearers. Thank you.With regards
