Need legal advise in Educational matter

I need a legal advice on following questions, I am research student (Female, married and having one kid) studying in South Korea since 2016. I also worked as researcher from 2013 to 2015 under the same supervisor. One Korean student from my laboratory made allegation against my supervisor of misusing research funds (salary). The matter is under investigation with Police. My supervisor hired a lawyer (Korean) for this matter. As per University rule, I have completed my Course work and formalities and then I am doing my research in India with my Professor’s collaborator. Honestly speaking, I had very bad experience in Korea due to language and food problem, hierarchy issues etc. For investigation purpose, Police asked to appear in police station (in Korea) and interrogated my supervisor, other students from my lab. Now, Police is asking me to come to Korea for interrogation, which I don’t want. Police told to Professor’s lawyer 1. Its better for me to come to Korea to answer the questions by police, 2. If I don’t want, I need to give a solid appropriate reason/excuse in order to avoid to go to Korea, 3. In worst case, Korean police may apply to International Investigation in which Indian Police will arrest me and will send to Korea. Now, I am ready for the interrogation via Video calling OR Skype but I am not interested to go to Korea. Now I need an advice on following, 1. What could be best way to avoid going to Korea in this situation. What could be best excuse? 2. In case of point3, can Korean Police really apply for International investigation by which they can contact Indian Police and they can arrest me? Does this really happens? 3. I am really scared of this matter, Please advice. Thank you in advance
