Deposite in Dispute

The owner of the flat negotiated the price as RS 14000+ RS 2500 before I occupied the flat. Owner stated that the maintenance amount of RS 2500 has to be deposited to the society in a separate society’s account and Rent 14000 in his personal account . After 1.5 years of my occupancy the society informed me in a formal meeting that maintenance amount is RS 3000 and not RS 2500 which I paid every month punctually on time . Now owner wants to adjust the arrear of RS 9000(500+18 month) from my deposit of RS 80000 paid in advance. Owner accepted on whatsup that he was not informed about the actual charges, but society mail and whatsup messages proves that he was informed from April 2016 but owner cheated me by not informing me . I am being threatened by society members that my flats power and water will be disconnected, which is mounting mental pressure on me as this relates to safety of my family. I offered landlord to settle my deposited amount and I am ready to leave the flat in 10 days, but landlord is forcing me to stay till Jan 30th the actual date of vacating the flat which I have already informed in notice to landlord on whatsup If I don’t abide by notice period that flat owner is threatening me of deducting two months’(Dec and Jan) rent from deposit . If I vacate flat on 30th Jan than also owner is not willing to settle my deposit on time and rather he is asking me to leave the flat first and then he will do an inspection of flat than he will decide about the despite settlement. As per his past history with society and the previous tenant, One cannot believe on flat owner regarding money matters . Please guide me what i can do legally to tackle my flat owner .
