Can property bought in wife's name be attached in recovery suit against husband?

Hello everyone, Would really appreciate some prompt responses to my query :- H- husband, looses a recovery suit. His property gets attached, but is not worth enough for the petitioner to recover the entire amount. So, can the W- wife's property be attached? Some facts of the case:- 1. Civil suit is filed against H, also impleading W as co-conspirator. 2. W states that she had no idea of the business dealings of H or the purchase of property and the property bought in her name by H is benami. Subsequently, she is ex-parte. 3. Some property was bought in H's name & some in W's name a few months after the alleged payment from the petitioner was received. 4. But, it was alleged by H's (since deceased) LRs that the properties were bought from H's own funds. 5. Also, the petitioner failed to prove that the properties were bought from the petitioner's funds. 6. W was separated from H at the time when the properties were bought and got legally divorced from H a couple of years after the properties were bought and this recovery suit was filed. 7. The recovery suit was only proved against H, and no link of W with the alleged transaction or business dealings of H was established. Thanks in advance ?
