Biometric mismatch - joining procedure delayed

Respected sir, I had appeared for IBPS exam, the result for which came on 1st april 2018 and I got placed in central bank of india. After waiting for six months, central bank of india sent an appointment letter and called us for training programme and thereafter branch was to be alloted. At training centre unfortunately my biometric did not match as I have a condition called hyperhydrosis- excessive sweating of palms. I even had medical certificate, adhar card, pan card, but nothing was taken into consideration. Other 8 candidates also faced the same problem. Now they are stating that they will be sending our reports to forensic department and only after the reports come we will be allowed to join the bank, and that itself will take 6-14 months. We requested that we can give declaration stating if the reports turn out to be negative we will give compensation and any actions can be taken against us, but they denied that too. So now without any fault we all will have to wait, lose our seniority, salary, mental peace, everything. In this era of technology, obtaining cctv footage is also quite easy. They did not even consider web cam image taken at the time of prelims, mains and interview. After working very hard we were able to clear the examination and they sent us back the first day of training itself. We are not against the procedure, but aleast it should be done within 1-2 months or else they should consider other alternatives and give us joining till the reports come. Since all our requests have been turned down, we 9 candidates are thinking of filing a case. Will it help? How long will it take?
