Citizenship

I was born in Mauritius in 1994, both my parents are Indian. After birth, I came back to India on a 10-year visa. I just went back once in 2003 to renew it. But after 2003 I never went back to Mauritius, and my visa and Mauritian passport expired. I have the original birth certificate of Mauritius. in 2017 I applied for Indian passport and giving India as my place of birth as I had to go to Ireland for my further studies. During the making of my passport, I didn't have to provide my birth certificate only class 10th mark sheet was enough. I got my Irish visa, and I'm here from 1 year now. But now I plan to marry a US citizen, but they are scared that I will need my original birth certificate for the process of green card and it will differ from my passport as I have India as my place of birth. What will be the best route for this? should I go Mauritian embassy in India and tell them the whole scenario and give up my Mauritian citizenship and correct my Indian passport or there is another way around for this? Please help me it's urgent!
