Bail application pending at High court in lieu of an affidavit submitted to return the jewels

In a matrimonial case(406 ipc) pending (Summon stage) before JM Court, we had to approach High court for getting bail as our first bail plea was rejected at High court only. While at hearing we were asked to submit an affidavit containing the list of jewels in our possession with the time duration with in which we shall be able to return the jewels to the complainant. Simultaneously, the complainant has also moved to JM court seeking the custody of jewels u/s 406 ipc and chargesheet already filed by the IO as I mentioned above, Can we submit the jewels before Hon’ble High court or should we need to return only to the complainant as stated in affidavit. Since we came to know that the 406(stridhan) case is pending at two different courts, we feel surrendering the jewels before high court is safer than returning it to complainant. If we do so will this attract contemption of court/ bail plea rejection as we wouldn’t have abided by terms of undertaking or shall we seek clarification of the direction by Hon’ble High court where it has ordered us to abide the terms of undertaking and appear for next hearing.
