Partnership Firm Dispute regarding a Partner

My father owns a shop. He along with his friend was interested for business of Retail store for Selling women's ethnic wear. So his friend and I, his son started a Partnership firm with Registered partnership deed. Both partners had 50% share and the deed included all the standard Partnership deed clauses. My father also put the property on mortgage so that our partnership firm can have a loan of 50 lakhs to purchase goods. Since my partner was my father's friend he favored my partner allowing him as a partner without asking for any liability for him. After 3 years of business the company was in loss. My partner left the firm after taking all his invested money slowly. Since he had no liability on him, he didn't respond and funded the company so that we can pay out the losses. After he left we still have to pay the bank around 20 lakhs and 3 lakhs to suppliers. But he is refusing to pay money although his father has lots of properties. Since the bank loan was taken on my father's property he is forced to repay the loan while this partner is not giving money to the partnership firm to clear the losses. What action can I take against this partner.
