Civil suit against Guarantor's legal heir

Civil suit against Guarantor's legal heir The loan was sanctioned to a person(C C loan against business).The bank sanctioned him Rs.16 Lacs only based on two guarantors house property. Details of the case A Govt. bank sanctioned a loan for the amount of Rs16 lacs to that person for the Multi Gym under C.C scheme in 2007. My Father and another person had given the personal (Mortgage of House property) guarantee in that loan. My father died on March 2017 before his death the bank issue us sarfeasi notice on Jan'2016. after that my father filed a case against bank & borrower in high Court. my father also interested to compromise settlement but the bank not co-operate with us. The 2nd guarantor is alive. The bank even after the death of my father creating pressure through their recovery agent. 1.The loan account was operated by the borrower only. 2.The loan account became NPA by bank on Oct 2009. 3.Bank filed legal suit for recovery of amount Rs 16.37 lacs including interest. 4.There are total three parties in the case (Borrower & 2 Guarantor ). 5.Borrower is not given any amount nor any contact with Bank. 6.My Father was filed a Cheating case against borrower in lower court but after his death it is almost closed due to criminal case. Please suggest, Any solution so that I will be removed from this Problem. Is it possiable to part the liability between two guarantor equally by the bank. Do I liable to pay the loan amount, if so, up to what amount. Any other suggestions/opinion.
