Is the dealership transferable?

I come from a state of matrilineal society. Sons do not have a claim over family property, even the self acquired property during his bachelorship. Property always belongs to the mother of the house. In this instant case my late father was an agent of a retail dealer in petroleum products and my father set up the retail outlet in his land. My father before he expired made a deed of partnership in my name and my elder sister's. After my father died there was nobody to look after the business, as i was a minor and my sister was a government employee, so our only option was to make my eldest brother the dealer of the agency. My elder sister has given to take the possession of the land which is illegal because 1. The deed of agreement and lease (for 30 years) was not registered to the headquarters of Meghalaya which is situated in Shillong. 2. I having attained majority now do not ratify the said lease and consequently the company is in occupation of the land without my consent. I sent a legal notice with a period of 2 months to deal with the situation and have even asked my brother to either surrender the dealership. Now they asked me to have a partnership with them because their reason was that the licence cannot be transferred which leaves me with no choice but to make a partnership with them. Is it necessary to do? He can surrender the dealership right? If not then what should i do?
