498a and DV

Hello, a fraudulent 498a case was filed by the wife almost 10 years ago against me and my parent. The marriage was short, just a month or so. We have no child. Due to stress, I lost the job I had when I was married and now live at my parents' home as I am unemployed for several years. The wife abandoned our matrimonial home (rental) without contacts for months. Later, she tried to return as if nothing had happened. I wanted a divorce instead. Then, the wife filed 498a and managed to get the 498a chargesheet to be favorable to her. I'm still trying to fight the 498a case but no progress as she stopped showing up at the court. I don't know where she lives, but it seems like in the same city because she recently came to the house with a photocopy of a handwritten exparte order for maintenance and residence. I don't have the actual copy. I'm trying to get a copy of the order from the court directly. The order date written was 8-years ago. I had to change our lawyer for dishonest practice so I didn't know about this exparte order. It seemed that that lawyer filed an appeal against DV but the exparte order was given after that. I'd like to appeal this exparte order. The wife didn't enforce it all this time (don't know why), but she just recently brought a photocopy for us to sign while also demanding to sign a mutual consent agreement. (That's how I came to know about this DV exparte order.) I do want a mutual divorce but can I appeal this exparte DV order? If so, how to tackle this appeal? Maintenance is too high for me to afford as I have no job. Can I appeal to reduce? Does the wife have a right to residence/ownership of my parents' home (ancestral) even though it was never a matrimonial home but I currently reside here? Can she ask for a right to residence after divorce too whenever it happens? If the 498a chargesheet is unfavorable, how can one effectively fight against 498a? Or, am I to forever be in legal limbo short of the wife dropping the case via mutual consent divorce? Thank you.
