• Public holidays

I work for a private firm. The work culture of this organization is not so good. The main issue is with holidays. We have to work during public holidays and and also on Sundays. If someone does not turn up to work, the HR team simply marks the day as loss of pay. I intend to change the company however I am feeling bad for other employees who are left with no options. Is there a law which guards the rights of an employee in this situation? Is there way to teach the company a lesson. We are willing to take legal action related to workplace behavior.
