1) i am a muslim housewife married to a hindu under hindu marriage act. is it a must to change my surname? 2) i have a son.. his initial adds mine and my husband.. eg., A. S. (name).... In passport they are asking to change into surname of only father. Can't a mothers initial be used officially according to law? 3) In application of my passport is it necessary to add surname of my husband, as i have not changed religion? please help!
