• Non-legal reply to formal legal notice from factory owner

I work as a division head in a factory. I had several queries related to my salary and deductions and I did not get a proper response. I followed it up in writing and still did not get a proper response. Hence, I sent a lawyer notice strongly detailing out my queries and raised it as an issue. My proprietor has responded to it in a self written letter instead of sending the reply through lawyer and the reply is out of context What importance should I give to it, especially that it has come in a non legal form. Do I have any edge and should I take it that he did not give proper respect to the lawyer notice.?
