If we lost a STC case filed by complianant and asked by the District Magistrate to settle the amount to the complainant, can we appeal the judgement in High court? If yes, while appealing, whether we need to settle the amount to him or without settling the amount can we appeal and run the trial of the case? Please guide us what to be done, if we lost a STC case (cheque bounce) in district court for appealing the same in High court.
