Pay Protection
I am working with Punjab govt department PWD(B&R) from 12.07.12 till date as SDO.Earlier I worked with Punjab state electricity Board(PSEB) from 02.07.07 to 12.07.12 as SDO. i applied for the post of SDO in PWD thru proper channel in PSEB. Am i eligible for pay protection irrespective of protection of time bound promotion/ACP. Is there any notification dated 22.11.2005 which restricts me from claiming the pay protection. Kindly revert with relevant notification/circular of finance depptt punjab/rulings of high court punjab and haryana. It's urgent.

Dear Client,
After Sixth Pay Commission, only the pay in the pay band is protected and the employee gets the grade pay of the post to which he is appointed after his resignation.
If you have been permitted to have technical resignation with protection of your seniority and pay protection, then you may may submit a representation in writing seeking pay protection as per law governing this situation.
First of all confirm if yours was a technical resignation or not.
