Dear Client,

Resigning from govt. service giving false reason may call for disciplinary action under service rules.

Well, there`s no need to open new acc. and can continue with same acc. no.

Nothing is illegal, you are all free to join whatever job and at whatever grade pay.

You can apply to any job, but follow the procedure prescribed in service rules,

Like informing authority before applying for some job, or interview , resign etc.

It is rumour. Dont believe the people who misguide you.

As PRAN is unique and portable across employment & location, NPS contributions can be transferred by the prospective employer to same PRAN already allotted by previous employers after completion of Inter-Sector Shifting (ISS), if required. For e.g. If a subscriber has been transferred from Central Government to State Government or vice versa, he can continue using the same PRAN irrespective of change in office, department or location.

Can i apply in another state govt. Job with higher pay scale by using previous job experience.

If you get an opportunity and if you qualify for the new post, you can very well apply, there is no legal infirmity in it.
