Can an SC, St person sell an agricultural land alloted to him, as Kadim tenant, under inam abolishion act, within 15 years, can his legal hires make a claim after 44 years land was alloted to him in 1958. He sold the land in1970, and subsequently to other people, I purchased this land in 1985,please reply

If this sale was in violation of the provisions of law especially to the rules of the allotment of land to SC/ST community, then the sale is invalid.

The claim now made by the legal heirs may be contested on the basis of limitation act.

You may have to defend your interest on the basis of adverse possession
